Watch our May 15, 2022 Worship service including sermon by Tom Cantor (Joel 1). It includes prayers, singing, announcements, special music, and a sermon by Tom Cantor from Joel 1.
For this worship service, we sang four hymns. We sang “This Is the Day,” “Give to Our God Immortal Praise,” “He Leadeth Me,” and“Watch for Me, for I Am Coming.” Our special music was a family singing “Blessed Is the Man.” The congregation joined in for the second time.
Tom Cantor taught from Joel chapter 1. Tom noted that Joel‘s name means “Jehovah is God.” He also discussed some Jewish evangelism that he promotes and that we are praying for. Also, he drew the analogy that the Bible is like a chart to warn us from danger. He gave the example of when he goes fishing in Loretto, Mexico that he uses charts to avoid danger.
Tom also spoke of the significance of the locusts. He also applied this passage to the importance of child evangelism. He recommended the book “The Lamb” by John R. Cross. You can buy this book on Amazon or at Tom Cantor’s Creation and Earth History Museum Bookstore
