Mission Statement

The Chapel emphasizes the Lord Jesus Christ through the Word, Prayer, and Missions.

We are an evangelical assembly. We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God and believe in God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe the Lord Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, died on the cross for our sins, rose the third day, now reigns on high, and His return is certain. Salvation is available to all by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. (For more, see our  Statement of Faith.)

The Word of God

The Sunday Service and adult Sunday School are teachings from the Bible, usually through a book of the Bible. Sunday’s services may also include reports from missionaries. (2 Tim 3:16-17)

Prayer

Our 9:30 a.m. Sunday Communion/Breaking of Bread Service (weekly except for first Sundays when it’s at the end of the 11:15 a.m. Sunday Service) is a time of prayer and worship. We also have a weekly Wednesday evening prayer meeting at 7:00 p.m. and a prayer meeting for Israel on the third Monday of every month. (1 Thess 5:17)

Missions

Since 1952, the majority of the Chapel’s funds have been directed to evangelism and worldwide missions. Individuals in the Chapel are involved in outreach in the community and with other outreach organizations. (Matt 28:18-20)

We are an independent, Bible believing Christian church, a Christian Brethren assembly (Open Plymouth Brethren).
