Tom Cantor started by reading Matthew 25:1-13 and giving a review of the setting. Tom next gave a description of the Jewish setting. He then described what parables are like and how they work.
Tom then spoke on the Parable of the Ten Virgins and gave practical application. He connected it with Luke 13:14, Matthew 7:22-23, and the parable of Lazarus. One application he gave was, “Develop what is not seen – trust and obey.
He also emphasized the importance of turning to the Lord now while there is time to be saved. One person listening to it summarized it as, “Get right or get left.”
