Watch our March 13, 2022 Worship service, sermon by Tom Cantor (Micah 4)

Watch our March 13, 2022 Worship service (Micah 4) including singing, announcements, special music, and a sermon by Tom Cantor. The special music was “Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus” sung by Pam and accompanied by Judy on the piano. Tom taught from Micah chapter 4.

In the sermon, Tom noted “there is a beginning and a completion.” Genesis tells us the beginning and revelation the completion. This chapter from the book of Micah focuses on the completion. He spoke of all the mountains in the world and how the Lord chose Jerusalem to be his mountain (Micah 4:2). He compared the Lord choosing this mountain to his choosing David over all of his bigger brothers. He also noted how the Lord called himself the God of Jacob, not identifying himself here with a more famous saint or even Jacob by his exalted name – Israel. Tom noted how the Lord in the last days will bring the nations against Israel, but when Israel turns to him, he would save them. He referenced the later chapters in book of Zechariah (Zechariah 12–13). Finally, Tom emphasize the importance of Jewish evangelism and the call to pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6).
