Help the Homeless this Christmas – San Diego Rescue Mission

You can help the homeless this Christmas by giving to the San Diego Rescue Mission. They give the immediate help of warm clothing and a place for women and children to stay overnight. They also have a year-long program with job training and personal support. They also give the Gospel.

They are also giving a Christmas meal.

You can donate to them right now at the San Diego Rescue Mission’s website

Mission Valley Community Chapel also gives to them, so if you go to the Chapel, you can also designate giving for them and put it in the offering box in the back.

Bring recyclables for Good News Clubs (Child Evangelism Fellowship)

Bring your water or soda bottle/can recyclables to the Chapel.

We collect them to give the money to Good News Clubs (Child Evangelism Fellowship).

Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) reaches students with the gospel. This is a way of helping getting the gospel to children at no expense!

Some folks at the Chapel are directly involved with Child Evangelism Fellowship in San Diego, our giving helps support this ministry, and we can also help by bringing recyclables. This is another way we can get money to reach children with the gospel.

Only water or soda bottles/cans will work.

Don takes care of this, but anyone in leadership with a key to the container can store the recyclables for you.

Local Ministry – Child Evangelism Fellowship

Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) is an international ministry that reaches children with the Good News of the Lord Jesus Christ. We help support the San Diego Child Evangelism Fellowship (Ann Hokstad, Director)

Child Evangelism Fellowship® is a Bible-centered, organization composed of born-again believers whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in a local church for Christian living. – from their website

They are especially known for their Good News Clubs at schools and since the beginning of Covid their Mailbox Clubs. Here is a list of  CEF Ministries

So if you are interested in outreach to kids, this would be a ministry you could give to, pray for, or help out at.
